No.
Yes.
seriously guys? Because i would really don't care if someone is a pretty good player and can't even say a word in english.
In what language would you propose to talk?
English is easy to learn..

I don't propose any language. I know players (even me sometimes when i want to be anonymous) who join the game and don't say any words. They play and are quiet. Ofc knowing an english is better but who da fuck care about it if someone deserves to be a pro because of his skills. so My vote is No. It's just aspect which can be missed without any problems.
I know.
Well few years ago I would have answered "no, they don't have to". That was the time when competitive games were played. Now our community is too small to have such good games - or only with players who already know the pw (but they all can say few words in English).

Our procommunity is more like a friend community than a serious pro-gamer community. We are friends coz we all know each other since a long time. We play mainly freeskate and some few ctf.
If I can't discuss with the guy (or just beh/io/grab), I am not intersested. It makes the game dead and boring.
I agree that we are small and mainly friendly community. But players who deserve for a pro pw knows things like io, id even if they don't speak english at all, because he had to learnt something to become a "pro" on thps3.

and who da fuck don't know simple english words? everyone knows unless you already born or you are a tarzan.
I "know" th3 "noobs" who can't even understand hello, "where do you come from?"

Here may be an argument : people who are enough good to get the pro-pw and don't speak English may never be involved in this community. And as you know, if some are not involved in sthg, they just don't care about it. they may spread the pw to their noob friends, pw leak ! OMGOMGOMGOMG.
Well it's not our problem that someone doesn't know an english. Not everyone has to be a "pro". Some of the guys play for fun, can't make x10 combo and they don't care. English just make the things easier.

I could teach to play some polish guy who cant say a word in english and he could become to be a pro because his skills are enough to play with "pro" thps3 guys.

English imo is not a condition for the propass. Skills are.

Anyway as we are such a small community we don't need any "pro" pws. If you don't want someone on serve just say him bye or kick him.
well, English makes the thing easier. that's right. I just wanted to say, I don't like playing with guys I don't know and who don't speak. That makes the game boring. Sure they deserve to get the pw according to their skills. But everyone is able to get this pw if he trains a bit. I'd prefer a small community with skilled friends, than a huge one with anonymous skilled guys
