Huge problem capping on thps4?

That's possible, though have you tried making it run only on 1 core? Some games really shit themselves on more than 1 core.

That's weird. I was able to cap thps4 without any lag long time ago.

You have to save your videos on a drive that's not being used, ex. external drive.
Faster the write speed of your HDD, the less slowdown you get.

Strange coincidence mono cause I just reinstalled thps4 and tried to cap it again - same problem. it's NOT my pc, I have a top of the line pc (and already knew the external hard drive trick) and I still get like 20 fps just in the menu.

i had a nother one when i was capping rev in thps4.
all i know is DONT CAP AT 60 fps on low. it bounces so looks gay like fuck.
if your trying to cap smth like a highscore u should just put the frame rate a bit lower. my fps is normally round 20-30 fps and when capping it goes to like 14 so yea. try capping in low quality game or smth. thats all i know (well while im writing this. i might find out later and edit Laugh

) il try and cap some more th4 with KaOz k good luck.

Just dl'ed THPS4 to check it out.
It seems 'enable full screen anti aliasing' in the thps4 launcher crippled my fps to 20 when i cap. I guess theres a programming mistake in it + I wouldn't use it, the AA isn't even noticable. does it even add AA?

I turned it off and i could cap 60FPS at 1024x800 and 1280x1024.
as experiment i tried to force AA in the nvidia control panel to 32x "wich was very noticable" and i could cap at 60fps with no lag.
It's not AA, but the vague broken enable fullscreen anti-aliasing option.

My thps4 is installed on my SSD and i streamed my videos to my HDD, not sure if that also makes a different.

Try out WeGame, you get a LITTLE, constant lag (doesn't matter what game).
