Makin th3 movies

Well i got a new pc (th3 dont works there, so i play on laptop) and got unlaggy fraps. Well its no problen to cap and upload movies but HOW DO I CUT/EDIT MOVIES?!??
Wich program do i need and what ive got to do to cut some little movies toghether?
Would be cool if somebody could tell me Original

1. if u have windows, th works at every kind (7 vista)
2. if u have windows u have movie maker. iths the best way to do amatur vid.( i use magixs premium 16( i bought it for my drum covers and other stuff) but its very exppensive.

At the new windows live movie maker i saw that if i wanna save the file, the programm asked me in wich defintion i wanna have the movie... If i save in low/medium definition i dont need to convert it, cause its small enough?
