Ubuntu + THPS3 = Fail?

Well, I got dualboot on my PC now, XP and Ubuntu but on Ubuntu THPS3 won't start. I used Wine but the resolution of it is horrible when I launch.

Any solutions?

don't use any linux dists for most games Ohmy

wine is about the same fail as most virutal machines on windows.

or win 2k, or win 7, or maybe mac os (not sure about this). but usually most games are designed for windows.

If you don't have to use linux don't use it. If you want, you should accept that you will hardly be able to play any games.

thps3 isnt running that great on wine. maybe u cannot connect(i had the problem [sth with iptables?]) to servers and some tricks look different. it's useless to play thps3 on ubuntu while u have xp on ur computer too...
