why are you testing combo skills such as 7 xtc :S, i thought it would be okay with you if a noob who can hold 15 sec combo with cz skills that he joins pro servers since there will only be cz and ctf as a game.
Honestly i thought it would be a bit different(ppl playing games like TA or graff) but now i think people dont even know games like TA or Graff.
I mean sure we play cz ctf too i like those games but not if its played all the time.
so my question is why doesn't a tester put on fucking ap and look if the player can capture all those zones, cuz honestly who cares about xtc and those questions about basics of thps.They are just a waste of time.

Because a pro can hold his combo too, it's more than just playing cz.
And the questions are to test someones strategy and to prevent other stuff from happening.

Q. why xtc test?
A. well, its a balance test(we dont pick ap cuz of shuffle). when we play we expect from the other players that the doesn't bail afther 100/200x combo. we need to trust the skills of our team mates. if they cant get 5 xtc it means that the other guy need to do full the gap.
Q. why basic questions?
A. if we play a team game, you need to trust the skills of your team mate. if he doesn't know how to grind faster and stuff than YOU are screwed, and the chance that YOU will win the game is lower.

It's the overall aspect that makes you pro, and that includes comboskills.
And yes there are people happy with the new password.

Shin you just explicitly proved that you don't like the password simply because your combo skills aren't what they were a few years ago..
And xtc does make sense. It's a more foolproof method of testing balance than TA, because the line has less variation and different tricks affect your score in TA. Although cz and ctf are arguably the most played games, long combos are needed in EVERY GAME, excluding CZ (only because we don't tend to play xtz, but we sometimes do) and KOTH. In CTF if your opponent couldn't hold a combo for 15 seconds then you could smash him/her in xtc every time, imo it's a necessary skill. And it's definitely needed in Keep-Away, Slap, Graf and TA.

Meh, it's just the general trend these days for some reason and there's not a lot that can be done other than request them in servers. I find it more satisfying to play cz and ctf personally because it requires logic and reasoning, ta does not. Graf has a little. Plus, in cz you get to win more, in TA you only win when you beat a rec, which isn't very often
