I've answered your questions regarding the HUD's design in-game, And tried to make one with your ideas, So here's what I have so far (Click the thumbnail for a full-sized version of the screenshot).

The separated special bar issue will be fixed, But anyways, Do you like it?, If so, Then I'll finish it up, And upload it here in the HUDs section soon.
