Ok so Dude was explaining to me reasons for the random crashes. If I understand correct he said someone sets their name as yours, joins a game of control zone, gets the key, quits, and that crashes my game? I had to change my name a couple of times because it was in use, I figured that was just a server bug though.
There are a few ways to crash games.
These for example:
- leaving a CZ game while owning at least one zone (if someone leaves my game with the key it usually doesn't crash at all, sometimes [1 or 2 out of 10 times] it does).
- leaving a CTF game while being in hold of the flag.
- having a name with too many letters (not sure how many but it works as well).

I crashed several times yesterday, maybe there is a crasher active.
So it's that easy to crash an entire room? I still don't understand how the whole name stealing thing works. Does the server still associate a name with a specific user even after that user has disconnected, allowing spoofing?

I'm trying to explain this as easy as possible, for example, I am going to steal your name "Challenger" - I go back to lobby, leave the lobby, change my name and just join the network again. For now, I got your name, my log-in name (psycho) is still the same in the lobby. If I join your server now, you see me as "Challenger", people in the lobby see me as psycho. This is the easiest way to copy a name. If I'd re-log 2 times in a row, it says that the name "Challenger" is already taken.

I remember there was a file which you can download somewhere and if you put that in your thps3 file directory somewhere you can go on thps3 and click on a server, then the server will crash already.
