seriously hate Australia's prices. The game is $25 here. Fucking bullshit
Do you earn more in australia? It's what I'm thinking, since everything costs more there. I heard cigarettes are like 15$ lmao

Minimum wage in Australia is $6 something, but I don't get it, in America the game is $15 and the dollar is exact same as australian dollar (or ours is worth more atm). But we gotta pay more? LMAO.
well guess what, 1 euro is currently worth 1.3 us dollars and 1.2 australian dollars. now, i dont really buy videogames, but for example, other tech stuff like photography equipment, videocameras, computer stuff generally, everything is more expensive here than in the us. often the distributor wont even sell all the products that have been made.

my father recently got some Sony video cam for free, by taking part in some internet survey or w/e, from usa. it is said to be a value of about 120usd, however, he went to some of our Sony distributors, and they didnt even sell the product, but they said if they did, the cost would be about 200euros.

lets do some simple math:
200 * 1.3usd = 260usd
thats about a 110% rise in price from the price in the usa, to the price at the eu distributor. now lets say the import tax is about 50% of the price (that means 0.5*120 = 60usd). now if you substract that tax: 260usd - 60usd = 200usd; that is a 67% profit for the distributor. now if you assume the company takes about the same amount of profit as the distributor, or lets assume a bit less, like 40%, it means that the value of the product is actually like
120usd * (1 - 40%) = 72usd, or even less

now i dont know what the tax and all that stuff is in australia, i also dont know how it is with the downloadable stuff, but you should somehow consider all this

I think minimum wage in my state is almost $9/hour lmao.

When is this coming for pc Sad
What about gasoline. I remember the Americans getting insane for paying too much for a gallon gasoline, 2 years ago. At the moment it's $3.84/gallon and I guess it has only increased during the past 2 years.

The gasoline price here is €1,89 per liter. Which is $2.46 per liter and is $9.31 per gallon gasoline. Seriously
Petrol has increased a lot here, it's currently around $1.50 a liter i think, last year I got below $1, which was great. not too sure about gallon though
here it's like 1.7€uros / liter.
lyst, 1.89€ is huge
