I just found this while goofing off and I bet it's known but I haven't seen anyone do it.

If you grind a half pipe/quarter pipe, whatever, and drop down, hold one of the spin buttons while dropping or before, while grinding, when you're floating you are able to fastplant.

Did anyone else know it was possible?

yes, u can also fp from groundrevertbug wihtout ending the combo, you just have to time it right.

i only knew it on certain spots like on the movable quarterpipe in canada or the half pipe in foundry

That's just when u're in midair. But it's possible on the ground too.
