could we make more than 8 teams pls? SadSadSadSad
Yevlets make more pls i would be in then.
if there are too much teams, this tourney will be sooo long..
Lets make 10 or 12 pls
If there would be any new, I'm in with Day!
both 10 and 12 are really fucked up systems if you play 2vs2.
The chance that a 2vs2 match is played (based on prev tours) within a week is 50% and within 2 weeks 75%.
With 12 you can't do normal elimination (12 -> 6 -> 3 -> ??), same goes for 10, so if you want to use normal elimination system you need 8 or 16 teams. Well 16 teams is 32 players, which is also unlikely to happen.

Then you can use a group system. For 10, you can only split them up in 2x5.
That would mean that every team has to play 4 matches in the group, that means that 10 x 4 / 2 = 20 matches, only in the group so far, that would take you 1-2 months to finish and still 25% didn't play.
With 12 you can only do 2 x 6 or 3 x 4. 2x6 is even more matches 5x12/2=30 and 3x4 = 2 x 12/2= 12 matches. Then you have 4 teams left.

With 8 teams elimination, the amount of games you need to play to leave you with 4 teams is only 4. And even this tour takes long. So 12 means 3 times as long and 10 means 5 times as long. So if this tour would take 1,5 month with 8, it'll take 7,5 month with 12 teams.
That's the reason why I don't organize 2vs2 tours anymore.
Damn, Lyst is well schooled with numbers ;>

manu what u say?
