It seems like they don't care, but I guess it would be a great benefit to have the THPS3 source code because there isn't much chance of any other "THPS-like" games being produced. If they were to release it under the GPL we'd (legally) be able to use the code to create new THPS games. They don't really have any reason not to release it, they hardly make any profit from it anymore and it's been out for nearly 8 years.

We've had several petitions about releasing the thps3 sourcecode in the past, so I doubt they will do it now.

Surprisingly thps3 is still being sold these days, for cheap but still sold Would be nice though. I know Defeator had at one time an open source project to make a thps-like game but I dont know what happened to it. was named flipped

I hope this time we will get source code, but chances are very slim. Gearbox may not own rights to thps3 code.

yea right what plum says maybe u should try at activision and neversoft too but probably won't get it anyway.
